About Us
Mission
The Preschool’s mission is to provide a warm and creative atmosphere to foster young children’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth through a child-centered curriculum. We believe children learn best in an environment which emphasizes creative expression, and curriculum that is attuned to the individual child’s unique pattern of development. Preschool is a time for children to begin a journey of lifelong learning with excitement, wonder, and curiosity. Our goal is to begin them on that journey.
Campus
Our scenic 5 acre campus is conveniently located in central Greenwich, approximately 28 miles from New York City. The campus encompasses three independent playgrounds, along with many areas to walk and explore our natural surroundings. In addition to our spacious outdoor facilities, with ample parking and easy access pick-up and drop-off lines, our school building offers numerous classroom environments for our students.
Children enjoy large and light-filled ground floor classrooms. In addition to their regular classrooms, we have several resource rooms for scheduled special activities throughout the day. Our large multi-purpose room, with a climbing wall, is utilized for music and dance classes, our enrichment programs, as well as on inclement weather days for many games and activities. Our fully cataloged library provides teachers and students classic children’s books, and themed seasonal books, to supplement our classroom storytime areas.
